Comment conjuguer un verbe au présent?
La première étape est d’identifier le groupe du verbe. 
En français, il existe 3 groupes :
- 1er groupe (-er) : parler, adorer, manger, voyager…
- 2ème groupe (-ir): finir, obéir, agir, grossir…
- 3ème groupe (-re, -oir, -ir…): vendre, voir, courir, aller…

Les verbes sont organisés par terminaisons.
All verbs ending in -er pertain to the first group, except “aller” (third group). Some verbs ending in -ir pertain to the second group. All other verbs pertain to the third group.
Today, we focus on the first group.

- Take a verb in its infinitive form, like “parler”.
- Remove the -er from “parler” → parl (called le radical = the root).
- Add the ending of your choice to “parl”→ parl + ending.
Ex. Nous parl + ons → nous parlons. 
The endings of the verbs pertaining to the first group are always the same in the present tense!
